Who this policy covers

This policy applies to this website, operated by Karen Ngoc Lang Luu, a California licensed real estate salesperson (DRE #01426053) affiliated with Century Financial Group, Corp. (Broker DRE #01930905). In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Karen Luu and her brokerage in connection with this site.

It describes the information collected through the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is posted to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to describe the rights available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the inquiry form or request the property decision checklist, we collect what you enter:

• Name and email address (both forms)
• Phone number, if you choose to provide it
• The topic you select and any message you write, which may include property details or your timeline
• Whether you agreed to be contacted by phone or text message

Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial information through the site.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting provider and the services listed below may receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Information stored in your browser. The site stores a few small preferences on your own device: your light or dark theme choice, that you have read the site disclaimer, and (if you use the language menu) a googtrans cookie that remembers your selected language.

Voice assistant. If you choose to start a conversation with the on-site voice assistant, the audio and transcript of that conversation are processed by its provider so it can respond. Do not share sensitive personal information in that conversation.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up about your request
• To send the checklist or other resources you ask for
• To contact you by phone or text message only if you have given permission (see communications consent)
• To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse
• To keep records required of real estate licensees and to meet other legal obligations

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They receive only the information needed to perform their function:

• Website hosting: delivers the site and keeps standard server logs.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
• Form processing and email: routes your form submission to our inbox and sends you a confirmation email.
• Google Translate: provides machine translation when you select a language.
• ElevenLabs: powers the optional voice assistant.

We may also share information with our responsible broker, and with others when needed to carry out a transaction you ask us to help with (for example, escrow or a lender you choose), or when required by law.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the CCPA. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our relationship, and for as long as real estate record-keeping rules or other laws require. California generally requires brokers to keep transaction records for at least three years. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and who we have disclosed it to
• Give you a copy of that information
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Delete information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
• Limit the use of any sensitive personal information (we do not request it through the site)

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@karenluu.org or call 714-410-7440. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track visitors across other websites or sell or share personal information, the site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing, which is already our practice.

Emails and unsubscribing

You can stop marketing emails at any time by replying “unsubscribe” to any email from us or by emailing info@karenluu.org. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. We may still contact you about an inquiry or transaction that is in progress.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and spam protection on forms, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed (currently October 6, 2026). Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
